Does 805 String Quartet Publish a Repertoire List?
We do not publish a fixed repertoire list, as our music library is continually growing and changing. Rather than offering a static compendium, we prefer to custom curate music based on each couple’s style, preferences, the overall aesthetic of the event. We also prefer to avoid the kind of “everything and the kitchen sink” list that sometimes appears online without reflecting what an ensemble truly performs well.
Our musicians are highly skilled and can perform virtually any piece in print, and we can often create a custom arrangement when a requested selection is not already available. We are happy to accommodate special requests for processionals and other ceremony music.
This approach allows us to tailor the music to each celebration and ensure the selections feel personal and cohesive.
What if another group has quoted a lower price?
It’s very common for couples to receive a range of quotes, and price alone doesn’t always tell the full story. At 805 String Quartet, our value comes from the level of musicianship, careful planning, and the seamless experience we provide from the first conversation through the final note.
Our ensemble is made up entirely of seasoned professional musicians, not students or hobbyists, and we are known for being one of the strongest musical options in the area. We also place exceptional emphasis on logistics, communication, and ceremony coordination, which helps ensure a smooth, low-stress experience for you and your vendors. Many groups focus only on the performance itself, while we take equal care with the preparation that makes the performance effortless.
It’s also worth noting that we are not the highest-priced option by any means. In fact, some groups and booking services charge more, sometimes significantly more, while offering a less personalized experience. Another important distinction is that we are a true performing group that has worked together for years, whereas some providers assemble ad hoc ensembles that may not have played together before and may not even meet until the wedding day.
