Everything went so well!! We loved the way they were able to perform our particular music requests and it really made the whole ceremony so special and felt so true to us as a couple. Absolutely nailed everything, love 805 string quartet!

We had 805 String Quartet play music for our wedding welcome hour and ceremony. We worked with Bill Alpert, who walked us through the details, helped us put together a song list, and coordinated with us and our planner for the day of schedule. The playing was fantastic! Our guests greatly enjoyed the music while they arrived and the ceremony music was executed excellently. Working with Bill was efficient and easy during our iterations over the song list after the first draft. We highly recommend 805 String Quartet for anyone looking for live music at their event! As a planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many talented musicians over the years, but 805 String Quartet truly stood out at Bailey and Noah’s wedding this past weekend at Greengate Ranch. From the moment guests began arriving to the final notes of cocktail hour, their performance brought such a sense of elegance and warmth to the entire celebration.

The group was incredibly professional, timely, and easy to communicate with in the lead-up to the wedding.

805 String Quartet – San Luis Obispo
The 805 String Quartet brought pure magic to my daughter’s wedding on May 30, 2025, at Biddle Ranch in San Luis Obispo. From the very beginning, their communication was warm, clear, and so easy—they truly cared about making the music personal and meaningful.

What really stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile. My daughter and her fiancé had a few unique requests (including the Monday Night Football theme!), and the quartet not only embraced them but performed them beautifully. It was such a fun and special moment that guests are still talking about.

Their music added elegance, emotion, and joy to the ceremony—we couldn’t have imagined it without them. I’m so grateful we found them and wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking to make their day unforgettable.

What an amazing group. Music was played to perfection. They can play such a wide variety of music. Classical, contemporary, oldies…I honestly don’t think there is anything they cannot play, and play well. The players were so incredibly nice. Bill is so easy to work with. Thank you for helping make my wedding absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a string quartet for any occasion this is the group you want!

The 805 String Quartet was absolutely incredible! Their performance at our wedding was beyond our expectations. The beautiful melodies and harmonies created a magical atmosphere that perfectly complemented our special day.

The musicians were incredibly talented and professional. They were flexible and accommodating, and they even learned a special song request for our ceremony. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music, and we couldn’t have been happier with their performance.

Meet Your Leader

A lifelong musician from a musical family, violinist William Alpert has performed on the symphonic stage, the recording studio along with such legendary artists as Johnny Mathis, The Moody Blues, Tina Turner, Pepe Romero and many more. He is a decade long San Luis Obispo area resident where he performs with numerous orchestras and is a frequent performer at top wedding venues across the Central Coast.
